...it was tough to do. I focused on the colors and texture. I love to do all kinds of scrapping, but in general I keep it simple when I do my own scrapbooking.

I am finally getting my new kits in the store! I think the colors are pretty versatile. You could use it for Summer, babies, a wedding....
I can see making pages for my grand baby...well, when I get one. LOL I would love one now, but I prefer the kids wait another couple of years and enjoy their time together.
The pocket frames are larger than they appear in the preview and IMHO are adorable!

So...I entered the Digital Design Star contest at Designs in Digital. I have never entered even a digital crop. I know, I'm horrible.
So now I am strung out, not because of entering (which by the way you can vote once they have the freebies uploaded - tomorrow evening?) ...back to what I was saying...
Not because of entering, but because I have never really entered anything - I was absolutely lost. LOL. But I am prepared for the next go round.

The kit below, Made from the Garden, is the kit you will get to create from.
To the right is the color scheme -->
Below is what I will need from you by midnight, Central Daylight Time (USA), Saturday, June 14, 2008.
1. Three (3) quick pages
Use each of the 5 colors in the scheme. They do not have to be in each of the 3. The colors can be spread out across the 3 QP's.
2. Name the 5 colors in the scheme.
When your finished, send me an email with a link to where you have them posted along with the names for the colors.
Yep, that's it!
Note: You will have to send me an email with a link to your gallery or forum where you currently post and a little about yourself before I will forward you the links.
New Kit - Made from the Garden
This is my new kit - Made From The Garden! It will be in the store starting tomorrow!
This is also the kit for those who respond(ed) to my CT Call will use to create a few unique quick pages.
I am really excited because I am horrible at quick pages and I look forward to seeing what you can do!
If you haven't already responded to my CT Call, you still have time. I will quit taking candidates Friday at midnight (PST zone or is that PDT?) because you will need Saturday to complete the projects. I will make a decision Sunday, June 15, 2008.

Lilac Garden Mini-Kit - Freebie
As promised, a mini from the Lilac Garden kit! I hope you enjoy it!
I really enjoyed making this kit. I can see my self coming back to it somewhere down the road and creating a few more items. For now, I am off to finish 'Made from my Garden" and "Out for the Summer" kits! I love these colors too.

Memorial Day
My son is in the service and has served over in Iraq and Afghanistan on several tours. He told me about a year ago that he got his patriotism from me. It was one of the best things he has ever said to me. It meant a lot. I have great kids!!
These holidays are important to me because of the people they represent. I can watch any Memorial Day program and I am in tears. I love to hear the stories of heroism.
Anyway, I have a little freebie for you.

Between being out of town and life in general I have been running like a mad woman. LOL
I have also started designing for Digi Scrap Station under Scrap Acres. Wooo Wooo!
I was going to stick with Five Corners but I decided that Scrapping is just one facet of me...One corner of my mind!
I have finished my Lilac Garden kit and will be posting a freebie mini kit for you here tonight.

Next to Winter Wonder, this is probably my favorite kit. I love the colors, not to mention I love Lilacs!
A special thanks to Erica for the template. As I have said before I am really bad at making QP's. I have to say I am pretty proud of this one.
I am surprised at how many forget to read the TOU - I didn't expect a 100% or even 75%, but I did expect more. How do I know? Guess you have to read it to find out. :oÞ

I am horrible at arranging my previews, almost as bad as creating Quick Pages...Arggg... Any advice is welcome!
Thanks to Atomic Cupcake for her Enamel Action - I had a blast!
I tried to make the papers smaller for those on dial-up. I check comments at least once a day, let me know if the files are still to big. If you do leave a comment about the file size, let me know what is reasonable.

Sporting Clays
We have always loved Sporting Clays, so I thought I would scrap this page of the newlyweds. The term 'True Pair' is used in Sporting Clays and it fit for them! The kit will follow shortly.
The page is sort of busy, but I enjoyed making it...so what the heck.

I have been working on this kit it seems like forever. I am absolutely the worst with creating Quick Pages. THE WORST. I never like what I end up with either, I just eventually give up.
For whatever reason, it is easier to scrap an event, something personal, rather than making something generic. In the end, that is what I did and removed the pictures.
The pictures uploaded basackwards... twice, so I am leaving them The first pic is QP2 and the second (with my daughter) is QP1.
If you make a Quick Page you want to share, please do!! I would love to see it.
